{"id":3122,"date":"2022-07-12T17:50:39","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T08:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meisei.co.jp\/english\/?post_type=news&#038;p=3122"},"modified":"2025-06-02T09:18:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T00:18:07","slug":"p3122","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.meisei.co.jp\/english\/news\/p3122","title":{"rendered":"Meisei Electric participates in WMO Upper-Air Instrument Intercomparison campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"Meisei Electric participated in the a laboratory campaign of WMO Upper-Air Instrument Intercomparison campaign (UAII2022) held from March 26 through April 8 at the Lindenberg Observatory of Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), the German meteorological office.<br>\r\n<br>\r\nThe UAII2022 is an international event where 12 radiosonde manufacturers around the world participate to evaluate the performance of their radiosondes. Prior to the radiosounding campaign (field Intercomparison) scheduled for August 2022, various tests were conducted using indoor facilities (to evaluate the effect that solar radiation has on temperature measurement and the delay in response of hygrometers at low temperature, which is considered important for measurements using radiosondes). <br>\r\n<br>\r\nMeisei Electric will continue to actively participate in these international initiatives so we can help improve meteorological observation technologies by manufacturing high-quality meteorological observation instruments. <br>\r\n","protected":false},"template":"","news_tag":[39],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
