Successful Launch of the H-II Transfer Vehicle “KOUNOTORI7” aboard H-IIB Launch Vehicle No. 7

The H-IIB Launch Vehicle No. 7 equipped with the H-II Transfer Vehicle “KOUNOTORI7 “(HTV7) was launched from the JAXA Tanegashima Space Center at 2:52 (Japan Standard Time, JST) on Sunday, September 23, 2018.

H-IIB Launch Vehicle was equipped with Picture Compression Equipment- Split Screen (PCE-ss), three monitor cameras, and a floodlight, all of which were developed by MEISEI. Each products are monitoring situation from launch to arrive the space.
HTV7 was equipped with “HTV Small Re-entry Capsule (HSRC)“, and “Loop Heat Pipe Radiator (LHPR)“ part of which were developed by MEISEI.

Leading up to the launch, MEISEI was also in charge of radiosonde observations to confirm the weather above Tanegashima Island.
