Presented chilled-mirror hygrometer at GRUAN ICM-12

01 Oct. 2021

SKYDEW Chilled-mirror hygrometer

An international conference hosted by GRUAN* was held on November 18, 2020 online. In accordance with GRUAN’s request, we presented SKYDEW, new chilled-mirror hygrometer that measures water vapor. Conventional hygrometer, which measure water vapor up to the stratosphere, require refrigerants in order to take measurements. However, SKYDEW no longer requires the use of refrigerants that are harmful to the environment, making it easier to handle and more environmentally friendly. GRUAN has demonstrated that they have high expectations for SKYDEW. We have received inquiries from multiple weather bureaus from around the world after this presentation.

We not only develop tools for improving weather observation technologies, but we also develop products that contribute to the reduction of our global environmental impact.
