Our technologies were featured in “State-of-the-Art of Small Spacecraft Technology,” which is a report issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In this report, MEISEI was named one of five Japanese companies with technologies regarded to be state of the art by NASA’s technological evaluation criteria.
Please visit Mynavi’s TECH+ website for an article that describes the significance of being featured in NASA’s technological report as well as details about our magnetmeter and magnetic torquer*1, which were featured in the NASA’s publication.
(Five Japanese companies were surprised to learn that they had been discovered by NASA for its “space missions”)
*1 Magnetometer: A sensor used to identify the scales and directions of magnetic fields.
Magnetic torquer: A device that controls the attitudes of small satellites by utilizing the interaction between electromagnet and geomagnetic fields.
